How To Use

All tallows are safe to apply as an all-purpose balm for a nourished + calm complexion. Use on hands, feet, elbows, skin irritations + as a full body moisturizer. Store in a cool, dry location for maximum longevity.

With the Prebiotic and Baby+ Tallows, they are safe to use on your baby's hands, face, feet, bum + full body, PLUS they're nourishing for mama’s growing belly too.

With the Face Tallow, massage a pea sized amount of balm into damp, clean skin for a nourished + moisturized complexion. Use mornings and/or evenings.

What Is Tallow?

Tallow carries many nutrients + vitamins that help improve overall skin + cell health. Beef tallow in particular is so similar to our skins sebum (oils that moisturize + protect the skin), saturated fats + vitamins, it actually activates a cellular response in the human skin. 

Tallow is made by rendering suet (the hard, white fat around the kidneys of an animal). Our tallow is sourced from family farms that raise organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed + finished beef.

First exposure to tallow and have already made a second order

Due to an issue storing toxins in my liver, loads of product allergies and sensitive skin (dry AND acne prone), I have only used argan oil to moisturize for years. I love it, but I wanted more anti-aging benefits without increasing my toxic load. Thus, tallow. I opted to try the tallow sampler as we go into winter, knowing my skin leans very dry. First, the shipping and presentation were fantastic, and it made my day to see the delivery come in such an intentional way. Second, I love the subtle scents of the Autumn and Winter tallows. The autumn has all my favorite scents, and I appreciate that they are subtle enough to wear in a professional environment but yet pleasant enough to enjoy. That's hard to find with anything essential-oil based. I've been using the seasonal tallows on my hands and arms so far, and I'm noting that they STAY moisturized throughout the day but don't feel sticky or oily. Major win.

When I got the set, my skin was broken out in a rash, so it was a great time to try the prebiotic tallow whip. I eased in, using it sparingly the first week, but noticed a decrease in inflammation. I really enjoyed the prebiotic, but the face tallow whip is like a spa day in a jar for me. My skin soaks it up, and my rash out healed much faster than normal. I also do face massage and lymphatic drainage massage, and the face tallow whip is the perfect texture to do so.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how my skin does over time and as the winter weather sets is, but so far, I'm a huge fan. My mom has already borrowed my prebiotic tallow whip and ordered her own face whip, and I have both the chapstick and the matcha stick ordered. Looking forward to sharing reviews for those, but so far so good.
